Measuring your trimester by Gestation is the most common method. This is most likely what your doctors will be referring to when they discuss your trimesters. Dates are calculated based on your Last Menstrual Period.

Only 10 more weeks to go! However, many of the your early pregnancy symptoms may come back to haunt you, like frequent urination, (because of the pressure on your bladder), tender breasts (as they prepare for milk production), fatigue and pregnancy heartburn (see the symptoms section to learn about heartburn).
Your baby is now fully developed, but there is still some maturing and fine tuning to do. The lungs are not mature enough to breath in air from the outside world yet, but the digestive system is almost ready for feeding after birth. She can now distinguish sounds of different frequencies.
Heartburn - Indigestion is one of the most common pregnancy conditions. The same pregnancy hormones that cause your body's pelvic muscles to relax so you can deliver your baby also relax the ring of muscle that separates the esophagus from the stomach. This means that food and digestive juices can head upstream from your stomach into your chest and throat causing heartburn. To try and reduce heartburn, eat five to six smaller meals rather than three large meals, avoid spicy, greasy & fatty foods and wait an hour after eating before lying down.
Now is a good time to start considering names for your baby, if you haven't done so already. Make a list of names which can be further refined. Many parents leave the final decision until they have seen their baby or babies. One look at their little face and you may know what they need to be named. Sometimes, it's a name which you haven't even thought of before!
