Measuring your trimester by Gestation is the most common method. This is most likely what your doctors will be referring to when they discuss your trimesters. Dates are calculated based on your Last Menstrual Period.

At week 33 your belly should be close to the size of a basketball and your weight gain will be up to 1 lb. (450 g) per week.
Have you been doing 'daily fetal kick counts'? From week 28 onwards you should be able to feel 10 movements within two hours when your baby is usually active. Sit or lie down on your left side in a comfortable position and count how long it takes to count 10 movements such as kicks, jabs or rolls. If you feel less than 10 movements, speak to your midwife/doctor.
Your baby's brain and nervous system is fully developed and he/she continues to accumulate the fat stores that will keep him/her warm after birth.
Your baby's bones are hardens gradually, but skull bones do not fuse until after birth so that it becomes easy for a baby to pass through the birth canal.
Insomnia is very common at this point in pregnancy, so remember to jot things down to help you stay organized for the remaining weeks of your pregnancy.
Mood swings can cause you to feel emotionally unstable at this stage in pregnancy. Maybe you're feeling fed up with your physique and a little over being pregnant. Talking to your partner and friends can help.
It's important to keep exercising and eating the right foods and to ensure you don't skip meals. Remember to eat five to six smaller meals, rather than three large meals. Talk to your midwife/doctor about what the best exercises are for you.
